"Mommy Experience"
Well, this morning we took my mom to the airport for her flight to Oregon, where she will be staying for two weeks with her mom and sister. As a result, I will be "mommy" for that period of time:)
So if you could pray for me, that would be much appreciated. And for the rest of my family, as this is probably going to be a stretching experience for everybody.
Thanks!

Some favorite verses. . .
Jesus should be our ultimate example. I am in awe of how much he was commited to doing the Father's will, and being submissive. Listen to this:
"He must increase, but I must decrease."
This verse is from John 3:30. Jesus was talking about his relationship to the Father. Isn't that amazing! That is a huge challenge to me, to get constantly at the point where I submit my all to God, laying down everything so that He might increase, and I decrease.
Another one is this: Again, this is Jesus talking:
"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." - John 5:30
Yes, I have been reading in John lately:) Actually, it's one of my favorite books. Again, just a very powerful reminder to me that it's good, it's okay, it's needed to trust in the Father, and submit to His will.

First Post. . .
Yes, you read that correctly. Finally, I am posting something on the blog that I didn't even know existed until just recently, thanks to Merissa:)
I'm not quite sure how that happened. . . but at least now I know.
Anyway, what to blog about?
I don't have much time, so it'll have to be short.
For one thing, we are (finally) nearing the end of our kitchen renos, which have been going on for what seems like forever. . . but is not actually that long, thankfully.
Mom has really been a trooper throughout this process; remaining impressively organized and coordinated.
Dad also deserves a huge chunk of the credit, as he is the one who has been doing most of the work, except for making the cabinets:)
Other than that. . . let's see. Not really that much.
The Lord has been really putting on my heart recently the need to get to know Him better, so that I may be able to serve Him better.
I have to go, but next time I will share some of my favorite verses regarding this.
Till next time!
